The Endless Nights of Rick Nobles
This is a six-page story I did as part of a larger comic-book project in 1992. Rick nobles is based on Mike Rowe, a former late-night host of QVC and one of my all-time comedy heroes.
Through my big-time Hollywood connections, I was finally able to meet Mike in November, 2002. He says the strip, which was largely based on humorous postulation on my part, was "so accurate, it was spooky." See for yourself by reading the complete story below. (Read the pages in order, obviously.)

Rich Dahm and I after a few beers with the real-life Rick Nobles, Mike Rowe! It's a terrible picture -- in person, Rich doesn't look retarded, Mike doesn't look 80 years old, and I don't look like a fat pig. Mike is holding the first screenplay I ever wrote, which is also about Rick Nobles. It's a terrible screenplay.
